SceneLock is built around a simple boundary: the creator sees the estimated render cost before the job can spend provider money. The app separates the workflow subscription from inference spend, keeps Scene Graph continuity data attached to the project, and labels specimen samples until real customer outputs are public.
SceneLock estimates render spend in USD before paid generation starts. The quote is based on the selected workflow, duration, asset count, and configured providers. After approval, ledger events record quote, authorization, provider usage, QC, and refunds when a render fails a covered quality check.
Scene Graph stores named characters, style rules, voice choices, source facts, and scene decisions as project context. Later shots and regenerations can reference those locks instead of asking a model to rediscover the look from scratch. Template pages expose source requirements; long-form projects keep the same continuity metadata.
With BYO keys, provider calls use the accounts you connect and provider invoices stay outside the SceneLock subscription. Hosted provider access is an optional add-on for customers who want one bill; those costs should appear in the pre-render quote instead of being hidden behind credits.
